ABOUT SUPERIOR GLASS AND WINDSHIELD REPAIR
While living in Calgary with his family, Paul Quinn obtained his Red Seal Journeyman Glazier certification and managed a successful branch of a national glass company. In 1987, the Quinns moved back home to Nova Scotia, and Paul put his business knowledge and hands-on approach to work for him.
Paul built Superior Glass from a one-person operation to a staff of eight very capable employees, us being the first to start apprenticeship training in the glazier trade in Nova Scotia. In 2016, Pat Grimbly received his Red Seal certification as the first journeyman glazier to graduate through the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency, and we are pleased to have a second-year apprentice on staff currently working towards his certification also.
When asked, “What is the most important aspect of your business?” Paul is quick to respond, “It’s our skilled, conscientious employees who go the extra mile each and every day.”
